School Site Council (SSC) Representatives Needed
The Clear View School Site Council (SSC) is composed of five elected parent/community representatives, five elected staff/teacher representatives, and the site principal. The primary role of the SSC is to develop, approve, and monitor the School Plan for Student Achievement.
With a few exceptions, SSC meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month. Until it is safe to meet in person, our SSC meetings will be held virtually. All parents and staff are welcome to attend the meetings. Elected council members serve on the committee for two years.
At this time, we have three open parent/community representative positions for the 2020-21 school year. Please fill out the form linked below if you wish to nominate yourself and serve on the Clear View School Site Council. The deadline to complete the form has been extended to 5:00pm on Friday, August 6th. Voting will take place during the week of August 9-13.

Parents Allowed on Campus for Drop-off and Pickup
CVESD is allowing parents to drop off and pick up their child on school campuses, provided that parents follow the health and safety guidelines from the state. Parents are expected to leave campus immediately following dropping off or picking up their child.
Starting on Monday, August 2nd, parents may walk onto campus for drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. Please read these details closely:
Parents are highly encouraged to wear a mask at all times on campus.
Parents of students in grades 1 – 6 may walk their child onto campus up to the stairs leading to the blacktop. At this point parents are being asked to say goodbye to their child and exit campus. Students will proceed to their line on the blacktop.
Parents of students in PreK, TK, and kinder may walk their child to the classroom door once teachers come out to the gate to pick up the class. Once parents arrive at the classroom door they are being asked to say goodbye and exit campus.
Parents may not enter the classroom for any reason at this time.
Parents of students in grades 1 – 6 will be allowed on campus at the end of the day to pick up their child at the classroom door. Parents need to exit the campus immediately after picking up their child.
PreK, TK, and kindergarten students will continue to be dismissed at the kinder gate.
Arrival and Dismissal Reminders
- Siblings of kindergarten students should go to the kinder gate at dismissal to reunite with their kinder sibling for pickup
- Students in grades 1-6 will wait on the blacktop in the morning on their class’ line letter
- At dismissal, students in grades 1 and 2 will continue to be brought to the front of the school by 3:05 to help reduce some of the foot traffic
- Pickup by car – please remain in your car at all times and pull forward as the line moves. It will be very helpful for us if you write your child’s name on a piece of paper and show it to our staff through the window as you approach the front of the line
- Pickup on foot – students not picked up at the classroom will be brought to grass area in front of the school to wait for their parent. It would be helpful if you and your child designate a meeting spot in front of the school to help you connect with them as quickly as possible. We ask that the walkway near the office door remain clear so students can easily exit the school
