COVID Updates
On Friday, our Superintendent Dr. Reyes announced that masking for staff and students will no longer be required while outdoors on campus. This policy will go into effect on Monday, February 28. Masking will still be required by all while indoors. Any student or staff member who feels more comfortable wearing a mask while outdoors at school is welcome to continue to do so.

COVID 19 NEWSLETTER – FEB 25 2022
COVID Clinic On-Site Weekly Testing Begins Tomorrow
Our free, “opt-in” testing program will begin on Monday, February 28th. Although this is not mandatory, we hope that families will choose to participate in this weekly testing opportunity. *No child will be tested without parental consent in this program.
*It is important to understand that the consent for weekly testing on campus is the same as the COVID Clink Kiosk. If you have registered you child for a COVID test at the COVID Clinic kiosk, your child has been opted into weekly testing as well. If you previously gave consent for your child to participate or have previously registered them for a COVID test at the COVID Clinic kiosk and do not want your child to participate in weekly testing, please notify COVID Clinic directly via email at k12@covidclinic.org before Monday morning. Please be sure to state your name and your child’s name, as well as their school in that message.
If you still need the link to give consent, it can be found here: https://school.covidclinic.org/register. At this point, any consent given will go into effect beginning on the March 7.
We hope that you will consider opting in and participating in this weekly testing program.
Solar Project
CVESD has been in the process of installing solar panels at every school site. This week, the solar project will begin at Clear View. Our solar panels will be installed around the fence line on the playground which separates our blacktop from the upper and lower fields (as seen in the image below). The array will provide a lot of shade and will sit well above the ground allowing for movement and activity to occur under the panels once the project is completed. The project will take about 10 weeks.
Beginning on Monday, February 28, students in grades 1-3 will line up in the center courtyard in the morning before school. Students in grades 4-6 will continue to line up on the blacktop, but in a slightly different location. Please see the images below for a visual of where students will be lining up in the morning:
