How Can Families Support Regular Attendance?
Families play a crucial role in ensuring children attend school regularly and on time. Here are some practical tips to help:
- Establish a bedtime routine to ensure children get enough sleep.
- Prepare for the next day by organizing clothes, shoes, and homework the night before.
- Allow extra time in the morning for a smooth transition to school.
- Communicate with the school office by providing doctor’s notes before or after appointments or absences.
- Stay informed about school attendance policies and respond promptly to any communications from the school.
- Engage with teachers or school administrators if there are concerns about a child’s attendance.
- Encourage participation in school activities to help children feel more connected and motivated to attend regularly.
Let’s work together to make every school day count! Your partnership is essential in helping students achieve their fullest potential.
