Please join us to in this opportunity to have a fun and productive night as a family!

Attendance Matters

Attendance Matters

Consistent, on time attendance is critical for all students. Please make sure your child arrives to school before 8:45 a.m. and is prepared for the day at school. If your child is absent for any reason, please communicate with Cecilia Johnson, our Attendance Secretary (cecilia.johnson@cvesd.org; (619) 498-3000).

During the month of November we have had 88.79% attendance. Our goal is to increase our average attendance to 96%. This month we have noticed an increased number of cold/flu and COVID cases. Let’s do our best to work together to keep our students healthy and at school for the next three weeks leading up to winter break.

Reporting COVID Cases

If your child tested positive for COVID-19 over the break, please use the link below to report the cases. If you need further guidance on a positive case, please email covtest4@cvesd.org.

Federal Survey Cards

On Friday, November 4, Federal Survey Forms were distributed to students. Please complete the form for your child and return it with your child to school as soon as possible. We are requesting that all cards are returned by Friday, November 18. If you make any corrections on the card, please initial the corrections before returning the card to school. We appreciate your help completing and submitting these cards. Our school funding is impacted by the number of completed surveys turned into the school.

School Attendance

As you know, we are entering virus season and there are currently a lot of viruses circulating. Our goal is to reach 96% attendance; last week we had 90.75% attendance. We have seen an increase in the number of cold/flu and COVID cases at Clear View over the past few weeks. Let’s work together to keep our students healthy and at school by reminding and reinforcing healthy practices such as frequent hand washing, not touching mouth, nose, and eyes, eating well, and getting plenty of sleep.

CDPH still requires individuals to test if they have ONE or more COVID-19 like symptoms (headache, cough, sore throat, runny nose, nasal congestion, etc.). For anyone presenting symptoms, proof of a negative test is required before returning to school.
