Drop-Off and Pick-Up

We want to thank you for your patience and understanding during arrival and dismissal at Clear View. As you know, we have many vehicles that access our parking lot and drop-off/pick-up areas each morning and afternoon.

Here are a few reminders about drop-off and pick-up that will help ensure the process is as efficient and as safe as possible:

  • Please pull to the curb for drop-off and pick-up to avoid having students walking near moving vehicles.
  • Continue to move as far forward as possible as you work your way through the line and pick up your child. This helps the line continue to move forward.
  • Please do not park in the pick-up/drop-off zone or leave your car unattended in these areas to pick up your child.
  • The bus zone is designated for buses only and please do not park in this area or double park in the bus zone.
  • We encourage families to walk or carpool to school whenever possible. This helps reduce the number of cars driving to campus daily.
  • We encourage the use of the Terra Nova Park parking lot for families dropping off and picking up students hand to hand at the TK/Kinder gate.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during our drop-off and dismissal time.  We also appreciate you modeling appropriate and courteous behavior for our Voyagers at all times.

Attendance Matters

As you know, school attendance is so important for each student. When children are absent from school, they miss out on consistent instruction that is needed to develop basic skills. Please make sure your child arrives to school before 8:45 a.m. and is prepared for the day at school.

Our goal for the 2025-26 school year is to average 96% attendance. We have gotten off to a great start this year! We had 98.51% attendance last week.

A shoutout goes to the following classes who had perfect attendance last week:

Srta. Lopez, Mrs. Garcia, Sra. Inzunza, Mrs. Sweeney, Mrs. May, Ms. Marquez, Mrs. Carson, Mrs. Harmon, Sra. Pena, Srta. Sicairos, Mr. Geronimo, and Sra. Jimenez

If your child is absent for any reason, please communicate the absence with Alejandra Diaz, our Attendance Secretary, via email at alejandra.diaz@cvesd.org or by phone at (619) 498-3000.

Thank you for your ongoing support with your ensuring your child comes to school on time each day.

SAIL Expectations

Last week we taught students what it means to SAIL in various locations across the campus. We had our SAIL Expectations Assemblies on Thursday and playground games rotations on Friday where we reviewed the rules of playground games and what is expected of students when they eat snack, use the restrooms, and play on the blacktop, field, and play structure. We encourage you to talk to your students about SAIL Expectations. Here are a few photos from Friday.
