Attendance Matters
Consistent, on time attendance is critical for all students. Please make sure your child arrives to school before 8:45 am and is prepared for the day at school.
Last year, during the second quarter, our attendance rate was 94.64%. So far this quarter, we have an attendance rate of 95.59%. Let’s finish the quarter strong!
Last week we had several classes with an attendance rate above our goal of 97%. Congratulations to the following classes:
Sra. Inzunza, Mrs. Carson, Sra. Guevara, Ms. Mendez, Sra. Yescas, Mr. Geronimo, Ms. Manriquez
A special shoutout goes to Mrs. Carson’s class which had perfect attendance last week!
If your child is absent for any reason, please communicate the absence with Cecilia Johnson, our Attendance Secretary, via email at cecilia.johnson@cvesd.org or by phone at (619) 498-3000.
2024 ERP Honor Roll
The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) has been honored on the 2024 Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll, a prestigious recognition for excellence in academic performance and improving outcomes for historically underserved student groups.
This distinction, part of the National Campaign for Business and Education Excellence, identifies schools and districts that excel in English Language Arts and Math on the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). This year, Clear View was one of the 22 CVESD schools who earned the distinction.
