Clear View News – February 24 – 28

Attendance Matters

Being at school on time every day makes a difference! Our daily attendance goal for this year is 97% attendance. Last week our daily attendance was 93.07%. Let’s make every effort to achieve our goal.

We have continued to see cold/flu cases at Clear View recently. Let’s work together to keep our students healthy and at school by reminding and reinforcing healthy practices such as frequent hand washing, not touching mouth, nose, and eyes, eating well, and getting plenty of sleep.

LCAP Engagement Meeting

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) survey is part of CVESD’s annual efforts to ensure that our resources are being allocated to meet the needs of our diverse student population.

Clear View will be hosting an LCAP forum on Thursday, February 27 at 8:50 AM to provide our school community with an opportunity to learn about the LCAP process, take the survey, and ask questions. Please join us on Thursday morning; your input is crucial to revising our LCAP goals each year.

If you are not able to join us on Tuesday, please take a moment to click on the link and complete our annual Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Survey. Thank you in advance for your participation.

For more information, please visit our LCAP district page or look below at the LCAP Parent Guide for more information. We look forward to hearing from you!

Parent-Teacher Conferences on the Horizon

March is just around the corner, which means we will be having parent-teacher conferences as we approach the end of the quarter. You should be receiving or may have already received information from your child’s teacher regarding our spring Parent-Teacher conferences (March 13-20, 2025). Our teachers will meet with each parent/legal guardian. Please honor your scheduled conference time or reschedule your time, if something comes up. Often times spring conferences are student-led so that children can articulate their learning to their families! We are also excited about the opportunity to meet with our families to share about each individual’s growth this year!
